Fall is in the air, and the questions are rolling in. Today, we're tackling groundcovers for those tricky hillsides. Jonathan from Prescott Valley is looking for something hearty to cover his southwest-facing slope. Calgary Carpet Juniper and Coral Beauty Cotoneaster are great picks; you can even mix them for a vibrant tapestry!

Remember, groundcovers aren't just about looks, they're about function. They prevent erosion, suppress weeds, and add a splash of life to barren spots. Honeysuckle, Trumpet Vine, and Virginia Creeper are all excellent vine options, while periwinkle (Vinca) and Oregon Grape (Mahonia) are perennial favorites.
